Baldernock Local Information

Consult your MP

Jo Swinson is ready to deal with your concerns. Go to her Web site, see her at her surgeries or use eMail.

Consult your MSP

David Whitton represents Strathkelvin & Bearsden and is ready to see you at the surgeries he holds across our constituency from Castlehill in Bearsden to Twechar. You may also consult him by eMail.

Consult your Councillors

Our area is represented by 3 councillors in the EDC.
Our 3 councillors hold regular surgeries in our church hall, in Torrance and in Kirkintilloch, and you may also consult them by eMail.
The East Dumbartonshire Web Site has a huge amount of local information on the things you need to do to maintain and develop your family and your property, plus a mine of useful local information. Go there before you set off to consult anyone else on all such matters.
Information in the EDC libraries
With your library card you can access all sorts of library publications that the East Dumbartonshire Council website has made available to library members on line.

Here's how:

  • Click here to open the East Dunbartonshire Council website.
  • In the search box on their home page, type in 'Libraries Information Services'
  • You should then see a list of pages, including Libraries Information Services.
  • Click on that item to go into the libraries.
  • When their page opens, you will see a box on the right headed Virtual Information Service.
  • Click on that box and, with your library card number, you can access any publication on the list of information they have put on line. Good luck.

Baldernock Church Hall
Our Community Base

The future of Baldernock Church Hall is uncertain. If the hall was to close there would be no meeting place for the community for all the activities that currently take place there.
Please let the community council have your views and ideas for the way forward.
